Last night I went outside for just a few minutes. I looked up into a dark sky. Bright stars twinkled here and there. Right above me was the moon. It shown dimly through a thin, large, cloud. How like God, I thought. He is always there, radiantly shining. But we allow our vision of Him to be clouded by our problems, issues, worries, projects, and even by our desires and successes. Yet He is always there, shining steadfastly. Where is the focus of our vision?
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
